Introduction to the Mask Window of the Membrane Switch Panel

The mask window is a transparent or semi-transparent area on the membrane switch and panel, which can facilitate the user to view the display of the second plate tube or the liquid crystal display behind the panel. Mask windows are generally divided into transparent windows, filter windows, and opaque windows.

Ⅰ. Various mask windows of the membrane switch panel

1. Transparent window: a transparent area without any color.

2. Filter window: The area is printed with translucent ink. The ink color used to distinguish the color of light-emitting diodes is usually red, green, or yellow.

3. Opaque window: The area is printed with multiple background colors unless the indicator light on the back is illuminated. Otherwise, they are invisible, and it is used to indicate legends and graphics.

Ⅱ. The design of the mask window in the membrane switch panel

Because the custom membrane switch panel has a printed coating, the window choice affects the panel's cost; the LCD window is transparent, non-reflective, or lubricated; the LED display window is clear or filtered, and the membrane switch panel is this window. It should be non-reflective; the display should be situated behind the glass, close to the window to improve clarity; and a special anti-scratch window coating should be used.

Ⅲ. Precautions for printing the mask window on the membrane switch panel

The bottom of the window is rough, and the surface is printed with special ink to form a transparent area for the liquid crystal display or light-emitting diode.
